Last March, my daughter’s school entered her artwork into the Youth Art Month art show at the Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, NJ. Youth Art Month promotes art and art education across the country. Here’s her picture:
Along with this picture, my daughter wrote a poem that describes the picture, which I posted below.
“The Blue River”
In the country
Side one brown
Moose and white
Bunny eat near
A blue river. The
River was silent
like a rock,
Peaceful as
The sky, like
The Mississippi
River … It
Travels to
The ocean.
